HTC is back to the cellular market with the launch of its new myTouch 3G, which is a sleeker device that takes advantage of recent software updates. It has more of software and hardware twists. The new myTouch 3G has a market cost of $200, which is $50 higher than the predecessor, the G1. The later version has smarter advantages.

The myTouch hit the market on August 5. The existing features are somehow similar to G1, but bit different in many aspects. It does not have slide out keyboard, rather it has a slimmer, lighter frame that has a touchscreen keyboard like iPhone. The myTouch 3G has a button, which directly takes a person to Google’s search engine.

While coming to battery life, myTouch 3G is far better than G1. It can last through a day, which includes talking, listening to music, surfing the Web and checking e-mail. Again taking snaps through myTouch 3G is faster than G1 but not that fast as expected. One helpful new feature specific to the myTouch, is the ability to check work email through Microsoft Exchange.
