Yahoo! has jumped into the give-more wagon and churned out new features for its e-mail service users.“Your favourite e-mail service now comes with additional social and productivity features. You can connect with friends and family, edit and share heavy files, right from you Yahoo! Mail inbox,” says Arun Tadanki, Managing Director, Yahoo! India. The new features include the following.Calling all social beings● The new social features will help you stay updated on what friends and family are sharing online, including the ability to view the most recent e-mails from contacts and receive birthday reminders.● You can view updates across contacts when they change their name, e-mail address or phone number.Stay attached● With more people sharing and receiving larger number of photos everyday, Yahoo! Mail has extended the attachment limit for photos and files up to 25MB (up from 10MB)Always mobile● Stay on top of your e-mails with oneclick access to check, compose, and search e-mail. Additionally, support for downloading attachments such as Microsoft Office documents, PDF files and photos has been added, as well as the ability to access personal folders.● These enhancements will be accessible on over 400 devices with HTML browsers.Calls for a photo● New multi-select and drag-and-drop functionality makes it dramatically easier to attach more photos to e-mail, view thumbnail previews and rotate pictures.
